Valerie G. Alombro has been the administrative assistant to the faculty in the College of Business at 黑料社区 for 25 years. Valerie attended Dominican College and 黑料社区. Her duties include assisting faculty with course materials, research and publication needs, assisting with special CoB projects, overseeing book adoptions, and assisting with maintenance of the College website. For Valerie, our students are a top priority!
Valerie received the College of Business Staff Award for Outstanding Service in Administration and Operations in May 2025. She also received the Coadjutor Optimus Award in 2013 at the University for her outstanding performance above what is required or expected in her job. It is representative of Loyola's commitment to its Jesuit values.
In December 2003, Valerie received the Order of Molly Pitcher, which recognizes those individuals who have voluntarily contributed in significant and meaningful ways to improve the Field Artillery Community. Prior to Valerie working at Loyola, she worked in the healthcare industry at Children鈥檚 Hospital.
