Now that you鈥檙e part of the Pack, we want to know: What drives you to be your best? At Loyola, is such a gift. It helps us to challenge our assumptions, reflect on our actions, and pursue something more鈥攕omething greater than ourselves. Linking Faith with Justice

Our faith connects us to our calling to make the world more just and fair for everyone. We act in service to others and take time to reflect thoughtfully on ourselves, our community, and our world. You will too, starting from day one of your Loyola journey.

  • Develop skills to make decisions guided by ethical reasoning and critical analysis through the program and First-Year Experience.
  • Advocate for a cause you care about through the Loyola Community Action Program (LUCAP), or get involved in Iggy Vols, a service and social justice immersion program. Learn more about .

It鈥檚 our mission to help you find your passion and realize your full potential to make a lasting impact on our world. You will develop more than just your mind; you鈥檒l have a space where you can be your most authentic self. We call that cura personalis鈥攃are for the whole person, body, mind, and spirit.听

  • Attend and other special events in the Chapel of St. Ignatius and Gayle and Tom Benson Jesuit Center, a centerpiece of the Loyola community. We encourage all students, regardless of religious affiliation, to enjoy this beautiful gathering space.听
  • Deepen your connections to other students and reflect on your faith during held throughout the year or by joining a student-led .听

Through Student Life and Ministry, you鈥檒l have many opportunities to live your faith through action. By connecting your coursework to the community around you, you鈥檒l develop skills that will help you in all aspects of your life.听

Krewe Chats

Did you know: You have a Krewe Leader who is a current student dedicated to preparing you for life at Loyola! Your Krewe Leader will reach out via text and email, and they will also host virtual Krewe Chats on June 2鈥6 to get to know you over the summer. Krewe Chats are optional. KLs can answer questions about Wolf Pack Welcome, Welcome Week, and general questions about Loyola. There will be a chat function enabled, which will allow questions to be answered by a Loyola professional staff member and/or a Krewe Leader.

Krewe GroupMes: Krewe Leaders will also create GroupMes for their Krewes. Krewe Leaders will post weekly in these groups throughout your first semester.听

Register for Havoc鈥檚 Sneak Peek

Can鈥檛 wait to start your Wolf Pack experience? Visit Loyola this summer! You鈥檙e invited to attend , one of two optional preview days designed just for incoming students and their families. Here鈥檚 what you can expect:听

  • See showcases of academic programs and majors
  • Get a taste of New Orleans music, food, and traditions
  • Take advantage of early access to meet with current students, faculty, and staff
  • Visit with campus staff and get help transitioning to campus life

You can choose to attend on Tuesday, June 17 or Tuesday, July 8. Both days will have the same lineup of fun showcases and resources. Each event runs from 8:15 a.m. 鈥 2 p.m. CT.

Your To-Do List

鉁 to set up your Loyola email and access the Loyola network, known as the Single Sign On (SSO) portal.听

鉁 Submit Your ID Photo by July 1

Log into your and upload your headshot in the "Upload Materials" section. Be sure to select "ID Photo" from the dropdown menu. Make sure your photo clearly shows your face and has a vertical orientation. If you plan to attend Havoc's Sneak Peek and would like to pick up your ID at that time, please submit your photo by June 1.
