Crescent City Stage finds its home at Loyola’s Marquette Theatre
Theatre will produce its inaugural season in collaboration with Loyola's Department of Theatre and Dance
(New Orleans, La. – June 6, 2022) Crescent City Stage, New Orleans newest professional theatre, will produce its inaugural season at the Loyola Marquette Theater in collaboration with the Loyola University Department of Theatre Arts and Dance.
The 2022-23 season will include Pantomime by Derek Walcott running from September 8, 2022 to September 25, 2022. Cry It Out by Molly Smith Metzler will open on January 26, 2023 and run through February 12, 2023. Tickets for both shows go on sale the first week of June.

Crescent City Stage is proud to be the newest professional theatre in New Orleans and is beyond excited to start a partnership with the Loyola Department of Theatre Arts and Dance, said Executive Director Michael Newcomer. Crescent City Stage would like to expressly thank Salvatore Mannino, Artistic Director and Professor in the department, as well as C. Patrick Gendusa, Chair of the Department of Theatre Arts and Dance.
Marquette Theater is located in Marquette Hall on the campus of Loyola University of New Orleans. Crescent City Stage is the second theatre in residence on campus. The Tennessee Williams Theatre Company also currently resides and performs on campus. Â In the past, Southern Rep Theatre has also had a home at Loyola, where the company was founded.
