
Loyola鈥檚 economics faculty ranked among the top five at regional universities in the U.S. South
Loyola鈥檚 economics faculty was recently ranked among the top five at regional universities in the U.S. South by researchers Franklin G. Mixon of the Center for Economic Education at Columbus State University and Kamal Upadhyaya of the University of New Haven in a journal article published by the聽Economics Bulletin.
The rankings looked at all universities located in the U.S. South and also categorized by聽U.S. News & World Report鈥檚 America鈥檚 Best Colleges 2016聽as 鈥渞egional universities, which includes a set of about 200 universities. The ranking was based on the average of the Economics literature scholarly output scores over the course of each economist鈥檚 career for the top five economists from each regional university.
