Hosts Immigration Reform Panel
Experts to discuss an earned path to citizenship for the 10.4 million undocumented immigrants in the U.S.
(New Orleans – September 28, 2021) The pandemic has put in stark relief the role undocumented immigrants play as essential workers in our nation’s economy. hosts a panel talk on Wednesday in which area immigration advocates discuss the need for immigration reform that includes an earned path to citizenship for the 10.4 million undocumented immigrants living in the U.S. today and what else is involved in this debate.
The panel talk “Immigration Reform at Long Last?” takes place at 6:30 p.m. in the Audubon Room of the Danna Student Center at Loyola, 6363 St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans, La. 70118. The talk is hosted by the Department of Languages and Cultures, the Women's Resource Center, the Office of Equity and Inclusion, the Department of English, and the Jesuit Social Research Institute.
