Loyola's monthly Jazz Underground series invites stellar jazz musicians from across the region and the nation to perform in Nunemaker Auditorium. Guest performers frequently work with our students in a masterclass setting in addition to performing.

Join us for an evening of solo piano music with our Professor of Practice in Piano, Dr. Qifan Wu.

"What are the greatest tunes of all time?" It is a classic question that has been hotly debated for decades. There are as many answers as there are people who love music. In this evening, Qifan will present some of the most famous tunes from the history of classical music, concluding with Beethoven's iconic "Appassionata" Sonata.

Come hear Loyola's top concert band students perform masterpieces from the band repertoire, led by our Director of Bands, Professor Brent Echols, and featuring guest conductor Colonel John R. Bourgeois, former conductor for the President's Own Marine Band.
