Info Session: Tropical Ecology in Panama

Earn science credits in the gorgeous Panamanian rainforest this spring with the Tropical Ecology program! Learn more at this free, open information session on October 17 at 12:30PM in MO 412.

The primary goal of this field trip is for students to learn about terrestrial and marine ecosystems and immerse themselves in Panamanian culture. Primary activities include extensive hiking through tropical forests, observing plants and animals in their natural habitats, exploring tree canopies, and snorkeling on the Mesoamerican barrier reef.

Crescent City Stage: A Christmas Carol

Patrick Barlow, writer of the Broadway and West End hit The 39 Steps, has retold Charles Dickens’ holiday classic, A Christmas Carol.  This thrilling adaptation uses only five actors to bring some of Dickens' most beloved characters to life.  From Scrooge and Tiny Tim to Bob Cratchit and Mr. Fezziwig, Barlow's A Christmas Carol uses nothing more than some simple props, fresh physicality, and the power of imagination to convey this timeless story of redemption.
